Game Update 53 on Test
Game Update 53 is on Test with some exciting changes for us! Some of the more interesting parts of the patch notes are:
PLAYER HOUSING
- Player houses have been given an extra room! Note to testers: Currently homes in Qeynos and Freeport will be unable to customize the new room. This will be updated shortly.
- Players can now save and restore their house item layouts. Use the commands save_layout and load_layout .
- House layout files can only be loaded in houses of the same type. This also works in guild halls!
TRADESKILLS
- The tradeskill society tutorial books now have an improved appearance. If you do not have a copy and would like one, visit your local tradeskill society merchant.
- The recipe for the Flame Tapestry found in Najena’s Forge is no longer limited in uses.
- Carpenters can now provide a few essentials for those stabling their mounts in their homes.
- Byproducts from tradeskilling will no longer have the crafter’s name on them.
- Tradeskill level will now count for purchasing racial traditions.
GENERAL
- You can now right click individual house items and place them into a moving crate one at a time. Excellent for storing your holiday decorations!
First off - Where's my new room??
That's right, an extra room for everyone! And an extra 100 item count to match it. Unfortunately, the new doorways may mess up a few home designs - but hopefully the trade-off it worth it for you all.
If you're interested in the new save_layout and load_layout commands for your house, I haven't got all that figured out yet. But, there is an active discussion on the Official Forms about what works, what doesn't and where your items go.
Stables!
Our poor mounts can now find some feed and water. Not to mention hitching posts, fences and more!
