Nights of the Dead '09

This year's NOTD celebrations include all our old favorites from years past (who doesn't enjoy the dancing lessons in the haunted house!?!) along with some new adventures and rewards. Anyone who's followed chat coming off Test has undoubtedly heard of 'that maze' by now. It's part of a whole new quest in Nek Forest with housing item rewards, appearance gear drops and a purple shiny collection.

 

New Crafted Items

 

City Adventures

The NOTD merchant is back (of course) with his usual assortment of pumpkins, candles and tickets to the Haunted House. There is a new reward for completing it this year, but alas, it's nothing for our homes! There's also trick-or-treating and quite a selection of illusions to purchase again this year.

 

Loping Plains

Didn't get enough Vampiric Mirrors last year? Or missed out entirely? Not to fear! Your chance to get one (or a hundred) is back. The Haunted Mansion quest this year features not only the Vampiric Mirror, but also a Wispy Vampiric Mirror (they look identical in the dressing room, but there must be some difference), and Notes on special mirrors (now you too can make your own Vampiric Mirror - level 10 artisan, Lore, Heirloom, 5 charges). The goblin who sends you to your doom... err.. on your adventure in LP also offers a tapestry this year in addition to the cloak.

 

Antonica - Scarecrow King

Want to get 11 of your closes friends together and take of the Scarecrow King again this year? You can still get the traditional Bone Sculpture or a new Destroyed Scarecrow Plushie.

 

Something New - Nektolus Forest

The new quests/zone centered around Nektolus Forest has several new goodies for us. Following the questline, you quickly find yourself in the Hedge Maze. A very well designed zone with something for everyone. There's adventure, mystery and surprises around every turn. A few of the goodies you'll find along the way include:
